Subway life - 3 - Chinese man playing pipa

I believe he used to play on a grand stage for thousands of audiences when he was in China. What makes him leaving his hometown, apart his family, drilling into this dim subway? Maybe because I am a Chinese myself, I would like to listen to what he is playing, to think what dream he is living on. But for others, I am not sure. When the train is pulling in, no one would even heard the music and no one would even stop.
